Israel’s Pissed
I’m sure you’ve heard the news. Israel has taken off the gloves and is going balls-out again.
Seriously, do the Arab nations surrounding Israel teach modern history? I really have to wonder at times like this.
Shortly, or damned near immediately after Israel was founded in 1948 they were attacked by Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq. Guess who won?
Israel. In the process they actually seized some of the Arab controlled portion of Israel east of the Jordan river.
Again in 1967 Syria, Egypt, Jordan with the backing of Iraq and a few other countries that aren’t coming to mind tried again to squash the state of Israel. Guess who won?
Israel. In six days. Again taking control of more land.
Now, come 2005 Israel gives some of the land back (Gaza) acquired in 1967 and what happens? Just as predicted the Arab population starts lobbing rockets into Israel proper.
Sigh.
This is why I could swear they do not teach modern history in Arab countries surrounding Israel. Guess what’s going to happen?
Israel is again going to kick some Arab ass and quite likely acquire control of more lands to create a buffer between them an their Arab neighbors. Of course, this is going to piss of the Arabs even more so they’ll start attacking after a while and then Israel will open up the can of whoop-ass and take over even more land. This will repeat, along with Israel giving back some of their spoils of war, quite likely for the rest of my life.
That’s just how it works.
