Excellent! This one cracks me up:)
How about something promoting the end to the unjust war
in Lebanon?
-Abject.
Sigh.
The point of the graphic is to show just how absurd the Muslim desire to push the Jews into the sea is. Isreal has lost land since the 1948 UN agreeement, won some of it back, then give it back to the Arab/Muslim population again only to have the Arab/Muslim population get on their high horse and start up the violence trend again.
Israel isn’t innocent, but they don’t stand anything to gain from this violence.
Israel will destroy them and set up buffer zones. If Israel does not destroy these forces with an iron fist then petty violence will continue until Israel smashes them. When the time comes for Israel to, once again, smack them down there will be a period of relative peace until the next round.
Take two drunken yahoos engaged in a fight. If you break them up before there is one clear winner and fail to seperate them (which is impossible in this region until every Jew is dead) they’ll start right back up again when nobody is looking. In the case of two drunken yahoos one, likely the weaker, will slink off and disengage in the name of self perservation. Unfortuantely the Arab countries refuse to do that and instead insist on fucking with the state of Israel to their own demise.
Right or wrong I have little sympathy for these idiots that keep testing Israel. It’s like sticking your finger in Hannibal Lector’s mouth and wondering why you’re only carting 9 digits on your upper appendages come lunch-time.
I understand the point of the Graphic, and hell, I used to find it funny. I believe I told you about two years ago, I actually wanted to get one. Things change, and I don’t really see the humor anymore. Israel did not exist before the United Nations Partition plan of 1947. By 1948, with the ‘Arab’ countries rejection of the plan, war had erupted. As they were not a nation, they could not have lost land. Those who lost the land, are the same ethnic people now being slaughtered by an invading army.
“Israel isn’t innocent, but they don’t stand anything to gain from this violence.â€
Israeli’s hate Palestinians just as much as the Palestinians hate Israeli’s. This isn’t about anything other than slaughter, and therein is what Israel gains … killing their ‘opponent.’ Not to mention placing blame, indirectly through their actions, at the footstep of a pair of nations being vilified in the media for the last seven years: Syria, and Iran.
You’re making a lot of assumptions with your third paragraph. Israel will not nessesarily ‘win.’ In fact, in this case, they can’t win. If they invade Lebanon, then Syria has already stated they’ll move to stop Israel. Lebanon themselves has stated they are mobilizing their forces. Of course, this was all set in motion not to long ago, and many saw it coming.

Both sides are guilty of constant retribution for past actions. The Palestinians have valid claims, as to the Israeli’s. Neither side is right, neither side is wrong: both sides are engaged in slaughter, and one side is doing it much more efficiently than the other.
It isn’t about Sympathy. It’s about remaining consistent, honest, and mindful of the principles of history. This is NOT a good thing if it erupts into something more serious. This is NOT a good thing if Israel invades Lebanon whole-sale. Unfortunately, it seems the usual Neo-Con Band-Wagon is all giddy about watching Israel slaughter those ‘Terrorists.’
Some of the headlines I’ve caught just recently that disturbed me:

Sorry about the spacing on that … my apologies.
Oh, one other very small point … you think Amerika’s spending
is out of control now, well, wait until we get the bill for
Israel’s current Military action. The Army’s going broke,
the Dollar is set to crash, our “Conservative” President spends
money like a drunken sailor, and we’re footing the bill now for
two fairly large military actions in the Mid-East alone.
