G3/CETME Magazine Torture Test
One of my biggest beefs with the AR-15 is that the magazines are pretty flimsy in general. AK magazines, on the other hand, tend to be sturdy as all get-out which is a major reason why I prefer it as a “go-to” or SHTF rifle.
I got a few parts to fix up my CETME today and with them I ordered up some G3 magazines for it. They seem pretty sturdy to me, but I’d like to see how much they can be kicked around and chewed on before they give up the ghost. So, I’ll keep 9 of the mags for my control group and one will be literally cast to the hounds for torture:
