Originally mentioned here was the story of members at THR donating money to get a 1911 into the hands of a WWII vet. In late June 2004 he got the pistol.
I regret to inform you that Mr. Davis has now passed on.

I swear I’m not turning this place into a cat blog. This weekend a coworker in Sand Hill, MI decided it’s time to find new homes for a couple of their cats. He was hoping I’d take them in but that’s really possible right now.

Yeah, so there’s a new theme on here. I upgraded Wordpress to version 2.2.2 this evening and tossed on a different theme that would let me take advantage of some of the newer features and plugins.
This looks a little too cutesy too me right now. I might dink with it later.
In other news, the blogroll has been updated. Now that I’m using Google Reader for 90% of my blog reading I decided I’d just keep it to those blogs that I read all the time.
Oh, did you know that Google Reader works with the Wii? They’ve actually got a customized version of it that takes advantage of the Wiimote. It’s neat.
