Yeah, I didn’t go, so nothing to report there.
However, I found out today that the event was covered by The Huffington Post.
I have only one real quibble with the article:
This crowd was packing heat.
Negative, ghost rider. As per Michigan law any establishment that can seat more than 2500 people carrying a concealed weapon is not permitted. The organizers of the event also prohibit loaded weapons from being carried into the event, and all firearms must be disabled in some way, shape, or form, from firing before they’re allowed in.
Excellent Article. Nice work Buist.
Well.. The law states an “entertainment facility” carrying more than 2,500 people. Everytime I go into a mall I have to wonder.. I know it can hold 2,500+ people, but is it considered “entertainment”? For some people yes.. Others no. I do carry at the mall because I don’t see it as an entertainment facility, but I wonder if they could bust me on that one…
If your church seats more than 2500 are you not allowed to pray???
Churches are off limits by default. Only with prior approval are you allowed to carry within them.
