On the news of STI giving California the finger (PDF) and announcing that they will no longer sell their pistols to any government agency in California, Larry Correia has announced a group buy deal for STI pistols.
If I had the cash on hand I’d be laying it down for the STI Spartan. The MSRP is $660, I see then on GunBroker.com for slightly less, and I wouldn’t doubt Larry could get you one for around $600, but don’t quote me on that number.
We now have our 2nd company refusing sales in California with the original being Barrett Rifles.
I’d like to see more of this: If a government will not allow a company to sell to its private citizens then that government agency should expect to be cut off from the gun manufacuterers.
There needs to be a lot more of this! I’ve never considered STI but I’m going to give their products a look see tonight and maybe I’ll find something I have to have. Go STI!
