Well, it’s about 11:10pm EST right now and RonPaulGraphs.com is showing about $5,650,000 in donations today.
Earlier on I extended the linear pattern of the chart and estimated that it’ll hit 6.3 million around midnight. I think it’s fairly safe that it’ll happen now.
UPDATE: Apparently I was off when I said $6.3 million. At midnight the graph shows $6.0 million. That’s still a pretty impresive one day pull.
In related news, Mike Huckabee is polling as a ‘Tier 1′ candidate now on the national level and his campaign donations for Q4 are approaching $1.2 million.
I guess Hillary had 6.2 million, so it would have been nice to have hit that 6.3 million you mentioned :) … but it’s more than Kerry got … and even at 6 million, we did the best we could and it’ll have to get coverage in the news. Ron Paul has some media interviews scheduled in the next week. Now onto Iowa and New Hampshire.

I like Ron Paul but I don’t get his view on Iraq. His stance would have the US Ignore the fact Russia just sent Iran Nuke material this week and the fact that Iran is now trying to get into Nicaragua (central america). Iran has some 350 Million deal that will keep their interest in central america. Too close to home for me boys. Can you say Cuban Missle crisis. I’m down to Ducan Hunter and Ron Paul, with Fred Thompson as a back up. A little help here fellers, what are your thoughts.
We can’t control the entire world dude. We’ve been an Empire trying to control the world for far too long. We really did take over the job when the Brits finally figured out it’s not feaseable to nation build in the mid-1900′s. The mideast is screwed because of foreign intervention. That includes the foreign intervention that set up Israel after Hitler killed a fuckton of Jews. We did an injustice to the Arabs by taking their land because our Christians say that God says the land is for Jews, and we continue to do that injustice still today, and the Arabs are STILL pissed about it. I don’t blame them. How would you feel if Russia claimed that Michigan now belongs to the Chinese? We need to get the hell out of the middle east and stop ALWAYS siding with Israel. Israel can defend itself if we were to step out of the way. They have 300+ nukes … they would wipe Iran off the face of the map and Iran knows that. They aren’t going to do shit on a large scale … which is why Arab fighters use terrorists and small arms … they can’t drop bombs, or they are all dead the moment they do it when Israel presses the “oh shit” button. Iraq will always be fucked, we simply need to get out of it. We should never have gone in and being there already is not a justification to stay. It’s not much different than Vietnam really … and that’s truth.
As far as Russia shipping nuke material to Iran, it’s lowgrade stuff for power generation. If we are really concerned about it, we should demand to have our own independent inspectors involved. Talk with Russia about it instead of threatening to kill Iran.
To hell with Iran in central America. Here’s an idea, how about we take all this money we spend in Iraq and use it on a real operational missile defense system? I would consider that a part of “defending our borders” and that is actually authorized by the Constitution. Screw the international agreements that say we can’t do it, our Sovereignty and independence comes first.
I’m not talking about controlling the whole world, just preventing in the FUTURE moving nukes up thru central america into the US, multiple nukes. This takes time, doesn’t happen over night. But I guess we don’t have to worry seeing how we could stop them from comming over the border. I mean we do such a good job stopping drugs and fence jumpers, matter of fact I heard it’s almost down to nothing. I also don’t think we are nation building, we are oil drilling. Nation building is a front. Taking the Arabs land? Just how did they aquire it? I guess you want to give it to Palistine? Their own people kicked them out of Jordan in 1970, their exiled. Someone has always been in someone else’s back yard stealing their cattle and their crops. Your take on giving back the “Arabs land” would have you giving back the Lakota Indians land (which is about 5 states), and yes the Lakota Indians are still pissed about it. In case you missed the current news the Lakota are “succeding from the Union” as you and I type. We’ll see how far that goes. I think it is kind of neat in a way, but we know how it turned out last time for them. How would I feel if Russia claimed that Michigan now belongs to the Chinese?
