Changes in MI Pistol Laws

This is good news.

In short the ‘Safety Inspection’ step has been removed, or will be removed when the law actually goes into effect. You can now mail the completed pistol purchase permit in. We’re a long way from perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction.

    I had hoped for an end to the registration scam, but I guess you take what you can get. Maybe next session.

    At least it’s being called what it is now and not being hidden behind the “inspection” scam. It’s out in the open now anyway.
