At my wedding reception the father of one of my old wrestling buddies invited me to shoot trap on Wednesdays with him and a group of guys.
So, that’s what I did after work today. I shot a 13, which is pretty typical for me unless I’m doing it on a regular basis.
Let’s see if I can make this a weekly thing for me. It’s not like it’s hard to get there and participate. I live all of 2 minutes away, my 870 Wingmaster almost never sees the inside of a gun safe, and I’ve got an unknown, but substantial, number of 12 gauge #7.5 shells laying about the place.
In related news, I used Jott.com to set a reminder for myself while I was still at the reception. It’s a service that does voice to text translation from your cell phone. Kinda handy. I set the subject of the reminder to “Shoot trap with Jack” and Jott.com interpreted it as: “Shoot ___ jack(?)” Heh.
