In related news Sebastian is going to a moderated comment system. I don’t blame him. If you’re popular enough you’ll attract all manner of loons in your comments. Eventually you just have to shut them down or ignore them.

Me? I don’t have to worry about that, though I did get two special love notes from the same fellow today. He must really like me:

Good to know that somebody besides my mother reads this thing.

Warning: Offensive language. Seriously offensive. It still cracks me up though. What kind of idiot would insult somebody on stage, who has a microphone, and a sharp wit? I’m not just thinking of Hicks here, but any comic. You’re not going to come away from that without being embarrassed.

Of course, same thing could be said for blog comments. You’re not going to make the owner of the blog look like an idiot. Ever.
