Ow.

Lower back went Tango Uniform on me tonight. It took me 10 minutes to crawl into my house.

Yes, I said crawl.

Once inside I gave myself a 5 minute rest flat on my back and that was enough to stop the various spasms. Long enough for me to get some….

sorry, had to let the dog in. That took about 20 minutes.

Where was I? Oh yes, just long enough to get some heavy duty pain meds in me.

I most certainly will not be calling into Gun Nuts Radio tonight, as they now require their callers to be intelligible. Something I won’t be at 9pm tonight.

  1. Here is to hoping and praying that once your back pain leaves you it doesn’t come back.

    Feeling any better?

Hey sorry for the off-topic comment. I tried sending you an email but it kept bouncing no matter where I sent it so you likely changed all that. Anyway … I wanted you to be aware of a new bill in Congress, I hope it goes nowhere, but it’s very scary either way!

“Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009″ – http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-45&tab=summary

  4. BT,DT. Going to bed for a good night’s sleep with massive pain killers helps, as it stops the pain-induced spasms and allows you to heal faster. A good deep massage can sometimes help, too.

It never goes away, though. Once you really throw your back out, you’re more likely to do so. The right exercises can help reduce the frequency.
