Eleanor Ewing Buist was born at 7:45am Jan. 8, 2010 at 7lbs 13oz and measuring 20 inches long after 57 hours labor. Yes, my wife is a champ.

    Dunno if she’s your first young’un, but it’s a helluva feeling to hear the first cry of a newborn baby and to hold them in your arms. It certainly puts things in perspective.

    Eleanor……thank you for not naming her Tiffany or Britney or some other god-awful cutsie name.
