We just discovered this minutes ago. Apparently he tore open one of the cushions (they’re attached, not free-floating) and removed all the foam padding on the inside.
The only good news here is that it’s my old couch, the one I bought back in 2001, that we never use any more.
Looks like FTP access to my site is down right now. I’ll post the picture later.

So… Chuck walks out of the room, down the hallway, and we hear a loud thump. Seconds later he walks back into the room with a new “toy” in his mouth.
His tail.
I think my dog might be mildly retarded.
Due to the not-so-sudden realization that I’m horribly out of shape I’ve started going running in the mornings.
Historically I’m horrible at waking up early, regardless of the reason. However, I’ve found something that can get me up reliably these days:
That’ll wake you up in the morning.
Chuck Norris has been taking chunks like this out of our deck for a while now. I’m not pissed, I want to replace the thing anyway, and I’m just glad he’s not doing that kind of damage inside the house.
Chuck’s 9 months old now:
We took him to a party/dog party the other weekend and te host said he looked like he had some Staffordshire Terrier in him. Makes sense — as he’s getting older we’re realizing he’s got some kind of pit bull in him.
He’s shredding dog toys, even the ones meant for critters his size.
Still, he’s just a big lovable lunkhead.
